Mike Boyle, also known as "Pete" by most who grew up with him here in southern Ohio, has been playing guitar and singing
songs since 1990. He fronted the band "Mike Boyle and the Broken Bow Band" back in the 90's and had regional recognition
and opened up for some big names such as Billy Joe Shaver as well as doing voice demos for songwriters in Nashville. Strong
vocal influences growing up comes from James Taylor and Craig Fuller but certainly not limited to as Mike has many styles he
sings from. Mike has written several ballads and songs about his personal experiences as well as being able to relate to the
lives of others. He has a CD with all original songs and continues to write and create daily. For more information about Mike,

Barry Barnes, also grew up in southern Ohio and has been playing Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin and singing songs since
around 1975. He has played in a few Bluegrass bands such as "Totally Lost" in the late seventies, "Backporch Miracle" in the
eighties and "Blue Hound" sometime around 86 and all the while playing Bass in Country Rock bands. He says he 's had the
pleasure to play with some of the "best players around". Influences come from early 60's music, British Pop, Dylan, The Band,
The Beatles,
Flatt and Scruggs, early Ralph and Carter Stanley and tons of others, let's not forget Merle Haggard and Willie.....
Mark Sentieri grew up in northern Ohio and has been playing electric bass for over 40 years. He's played pretty much every
contemporary genre including rock, country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, dawg music, a bit of fusion and a little swing. His bass
influences started with McCartney then veered off in a myriad of directions. Mark also produces and engineers local projects
in his recording studio, Deck Dog Productions, and was privileged to work with Mike on his solo CD.
Steve Hummel, the youngest member of the band grew up in southern Ohio and has been playing in bands since 2000.
He is a local favorite of Guitarists and is never without work it seems. Steve has a very quick adaptive nature to his style of
playing whether it be acoustic or electric. Being the youngest of members in the band, it seems he is influenced every day by
someone or some style of music. Ain't youth great? While Steve is on hiatus we have Dean Inboden sitting in on Tuesdays.
John Call, also known as just J.D. grew up in southern Ohio and has been playing Steel Guitar a long time. He'd rather not
tell you how long....LOL. He started out playing in local bands in Southern Ohio and also with fellow school mate Craig Fuller,
whom later went on to form Pure Prairie League. J.D. continues to perform with PPL around the country. His influences comes
from several Steel Guitarists but most noteably Buddy Emmons. John's style ranges from cry in your beer country to sweet
hot licks.
Sam Roma grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to the area around 2008. Sam is an accomplished Drummer, Saxophone,
Clarinet and Flute player and also teaches music locally. He sometimes brings his Saxophone to the gigs. Barry loves the Sax
but he especially likes it when Sam plays it because he gets to play Sam's drums. Sam's influences come from lots of different
styles. Being a Drummer and a Horn player he has to draw his methods of style and playing from various genres of music.
Dean Inboden has taken the reins on Guitar on Tuesdays at the Dock for Steve Hummel, as Steve persues more college
education. Steve still plays with us on most of the weekend gigs but we'd like to welcome Dean to the band. He's a most
excellent Guitarist and fits the sound we have created in Loose Pockets.
Ryan Jessie has also joined the band while Sam Roma takes some time off from playing. Ryan comes from the
Memphis Tennessee area where he has honed his skills as a drummer and percussionist. We'd like to welcome Ryan to the
band. He's an excellent drummer and adds another dimension to the Loose Pockets sound.
